Our Tale
It all began with Summer.
Last summer, our good friend Summer, lost her phone five times. Five. At first, we laughed. We thought she was just clumsy, drunk, or tragically allergic to purses with zippers. But as the losses piled up, a disturbing pattern began to emerge…
There was a system. A method. A cabal. These weren't fly by night thieves. This was an organized phone stealing syndicate targeting West Hollywood's bar scene.
Suddenly, one by one, phones started vanishing from our entire friend group. Nights out in West Hollywood ended with blank stares and empty hands. FOMO turned to real fear. Nobody was safe.
Then it happened: Cat’s phone got stolen.
That was the tipping point. She was always one of the most responsible in the group.
Enter: Ben Horwitz.
Inspired by chaos, betrayal, and his own slow descent into madness, he began sketching out a song. But it wasn’t until a few weeks later... when Ben’s own phone was stolen... that things got real. That’s when he knew:
This wasn’t just a song.
It was a mission.
The next day, Phone Stealing Club was born.
And the rest? History.
